For this assignment, we had to trace a letter we had gotten and then age it. To accomplish this, I wrote out the initial letter, crumbled the paper, and flattened it back out. After this, I used coffee and coffee grounds to create the coloring on the letter.
For my final assignment, we had to choose an item, create a story for it, and alter the item to fit this story. My story was that my chess board had been left in an abandoned city that had become overgrown over the years. From my story and the item itself, I knew that I wanted to have the pieces match the colors of the board and make the board look like it had been damaged over the years. During this assignment, I used a heat gun to alter the sticker on the wooden board, sandpaper for the board and pieces, paint, coffee, and hot chocolate for the chess pieces, and moss to help create the story.
